Experimental livestock complex
The experimental livestock complex, which accommodates 40 cattle heads and four horses, is established at the veterinary medicine and zoological engineering faculty. The center offers thestudents all the necessary conditions to carry out practical diagnostic and treatment-prophylaxisactions on theground.

Indoor and outdoor fish farming laboratory
The strengthening of material – technical base of the faculty of veterinary medicine and zootechnology takes one of the main places in the preparatory work for the new academic year. Thus, “Closed fish breeding laboratory” has been created in the total area of 72 m2 within the faculty and breeding of more than 2 million in 2 types of fish have been started in order to improve the quality specialist training on “aquaculture and fishing industry” specialty.
Construction of 16 outdoor water pools has been finished and fish are bred in 8 of them.
Students learn the technology breeding and feeding of different kinds of fish in the laboratory as they learn how to get caviar, how to fecundate and getting fish.

Poultry training and exercise center
“Poultry education-practice center” with the total area of 254 m2 has been established within the veterinary medicine and zooengineering faculty. The purpose of its establishment is to prepare highly skilled personnel on thepoultry industry.
Farm which meets the modern standards has been built on the 200 m2 area of the center and laboratory provided with all the necessary equipments has been built on the area of 30 m2.
Breeding of the agricultural birds, their feeding, teaching the modern technologies to the students, teaching ways of zootechnical-veterinary activites, researchs, modern diagnostic methods and other activities are carried out here.
Currently 4 students are employed at the center.
