First-year students of the Faculty of Agricultural Zoo engineering of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU) visited the mausoleum of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi and the “Gala Gapyları” Historical and Cultural Museum Complex as part of an educational excursion organized by the university.
The main goal of the trip was to increase students' knowledge of national and cultural heritage, broaden their worldviews, and stimulate their socio-cultural activities outside the classroom.
During the excursion, led by Lala Abdullazade, head teacher of the Languages Teaching Center, the students were given detailed information about the life and work of Nizami Ganjavi, the formation of the city's ancient culture, and the preservation of this heritage in modern times.
The students also gained knowledge about the centuries-old cultural heritage of the region by getting acquainted with the historical exhibits exhibited in the "Castle Gates" museum complex.
